About Me.

My name is Zac Glaysher.

I was born and raised in Cary, Illinois, where I attended Three Oaks Elementary School, Cary Junior High, and Cary-Grove High School. As the oldest of six siblings, I grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and leadership, values that have guided me throughout my personal and professional life. My wife, also a Cary native and the youngest of six, shares my deep roots in the community.  Together, we are raising three beautiful daughters, ages four, three, and five months, instilling in them the same values of hard work, dedication, and service. I began my higher education at McHenry County College before transferring to Winona State University in Minnesota, where I majored in Spanish. My passion for learning led me to study abroad in Granada, Spain, an experience that broadened my cultural perspective and deepened my appreciation for global connections. Pursuing a career in healthcare, I later attended the Arizona Heart Foundation School of Ultrasound, earning a certification in Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Sonography. Expertise in this field eventually led me to become a small business owner. Today, I work as an Independent Manufacturer Representative, specializing in the sale and service of vascular ultrasound equipment across the Midwest. Dedicated to improving McHenry County, I'm committed to reducing unnecessary regulations, fostering a pro-business environment, and ensuring that local families have the opportunities they need to thrive. My background in business, healthcare, and community service uniquely positions me to be a strong advocate for the residents of McHenry County.

Protecting
Parents Rights

"I’ll STAND UP for Parental Rights! As a parent of three young daughters, I believe parents should have the ultimate say in their children’s upbringing, education, healthcare, and values. I’ll fight to ensure our schools respect parental input and remain a place of learning, not political agendas. Just as I benefited from a strong public education, I want my daughters—and all children—to have the same opportunity in the very schools I attended."
